The perfect wedding photo collection has it all - candid moments, family memories, special details, epic portraits, genuine laughs and documentary authenticity.
That's what I produce for each & every wedding.
Whether you’re having a luxurious Scottish Castle wedding, a lavish hotel bash, a rustic barn party or an intimate family celebration, my photography style captures exactly how your day felt, in all its colour & emotion. It takes on your personality as a couple and all the lovely little touches you're planning that makes your wedding day unique and gives you a stunning, bold, colourful collection of photos that are totally authentic to you.
And here’s the best bit - because I don’t force your wedding photos into a preset style or trend, your precious photos will look as good in 30 years as they do now.

My Approach to your WEDDING
For the majority of the day, I'm in "documentary mode".
I'll be there in the background, helping to keep you relaxed with friendly chat and fun banter, guiding & putting you at ease where I need to, working with your venue and other suppliers to help things run smoothly (and yes, I’ll even help the boys tie those massive kilt shoelaces!). Most importantly, while I’m doing all this, I’m capturing your wedding as it happens - the laughs, the excitement, the emotion.
When the time comes for those moments that need a little more structure, I'll gently guide proceedings so you don’t feel awkward, helping to bring out your personalities and character of your friends & family. And when the emotion & love takes over, I'll step-back and capture it.
The end result is a collection of photos that not only make you look and feel good, but tell the true story of your day in all its lovely colour and emotion.

I hear that a lot!
If the idea of spending your wedding day posing for the camera doesn’t fill you with excitement, I get it.
You want photos that feel natural and relaxed but don't want to spend hours away from your friends & family. You want candid moments caught and memories captured.
But, let's be honest - a gallery full of completely documentary-style candid shots isn't the way to go either. You want some posed shots because those are important too - remember we're creating a legacy here, not just a photo gallery.
Here's the good news - I can give you the best of both worlds.
I've got documentary photography knowhow AND the staging skills needed to produce an amazing, balanced image collection that shows your wedding as it happens, as well as those stunning couple & family portrait shots you'll deffo want to hang on your wall.
And because I know exactly what I’m doing - we don’t need to spend ages away from the party to achieve all this.
