Balbirnie House is one of my fave venues in Fife. It has everything you could want in a venue - classic but modern surroundings, plenty of space, grand interiors and lovely gardens. It's just a genuinely nice place to spending some time in - actually it's one of my favourite venues in Scotland.
It's a venue where weddings tend to run really well. Angela and the venue team are very experienced, the day has a clear shape, and that helps everyone settle into the day rather than worry about timings.
It suits couples who like things to be organised, but still want their wedding to feel personal and enjoyable — and that’s very much how I approach photographing weddings at Balbirnie.

I always try and create something different for each wedding. Most of the time, couples tell me afterwards they barely noticed I was there — which is exactly how it should feel.

The staff there are amazing too, they really look after you (and your suppliers!). Simply put, it’s one of the best venues in Scotland. No matter what the weather’s doing or what time of year you’re getting married at, Balbirnie House is a fantastic backdrop for your wedding.
