Dunglass Estate is probably up there amongst my favourite Scottish wedding venues of all time (and that’s saying a lot, given how many venues I’ve been to over the years!). Nestled on the side a hill overlooking the North Sea between East Lothian & the Scottish Borders, it’s probably best known for its 15th Century church which serves as the centrepoint for an atmospheric wedding ceremony. It’s a wedding venue with truly unlimited potential and a photographers dream!

Where do I start? Dunglass is a truly spectacular venue, giving a breathtaking backdrop for a wedding and, of course, wedding photos. There’s a really nice vibe to the place that helps you settle in, it almost feels like a home-from-home but still has that spectacular element which makes it a very special place to hold a wedding. Every part of the venue, from the house & stables, to the church itself carries a unique look and feel quite unlike anything else in Scotland. For a photographer, it’s literally a dream venue, bursting at the seams with so many amazing backdrops to use.
