(1) Which areas do you cover?

Our wedding photography service covers the whole of Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ayrshire, Fife, Perthshire, Aberdeenshire & The Highlands, although we'll go anywhere we're asked - we love working in new venues and locations.

(2) How would you describe your photography style?

Our photography style is modern, colourful and natural.  We provide a real mix of everything, from relaxed traditional family photos, to contemporary bridal portraiture, stunning "signature" photos that show off your wedding and it's location, as well as documentary or reportage wedding photography, with some fun candid & storytelling images included for good measure. In short, we really like to tell the story of your day in colourful, natural photographs.

(3) Have you worked at our venue before?

We've photographed many hundreds of weddings over the years throughout Scotland so there's a good chance we've worked at your venue already. Don't worry if we haven't though, this won't affect your photos in the slightest. We'll visit new venues either before the big day, or we'll go extra early on the day itself to have a look around and identify all the fab photo opportunities your venue has to offer.

(4) What editing work do you do to our photos?

All photos we provide for our clients are individually retouched by hand and go through a process of colour correction, contrast and colour enhancement, as well as creative adjustments to ensure consistency and to bring out all of their detail. Our process ensures your photos feel sharp and vibrant, while still looking life-like. We'll provide carefully-toned black & white images for any photo we think suits that style, and we'll also remove minor blemishes and distractions if we feel they detract from the photo.

(5) We hate having our photo taken, how can you help?

Firstly, don't worry. There are very few people who really love being in front of a camera and it's part of our job to relax you, so we get the best possible results. We'll approach your wedding with an easy-going nature and a sense of fun to help you relax and enjoy it, whilst bringing the best out of you and your guests.

(6) Do you cover small weddings?

Yes! Whether you're having a lavish "no expense spared" wedding or a small intimate celebration, we can put a photography package together to suit you.

(7) Do we get to keep our digital photos and are there any restrictions on how we can use them?

Yes, you'll be given the original digital photos from your wedding to keep on a USB Stick (on average 300-600 finished photos). There are no restrictions on what you can do with your photos as long as it's for personal use - you can print them, copy them and give them to friends and family, share them on Social Media, as well as arrange for your own prints to be made. If you'd like to use your photos commercially or another supplier/third party has asked to use your photos, please contact us to discuss.

(8) How long will it take to get our photos?

We'll provide sneak-peek preview photos on Social Media (Facebook etc) within 24-48 hours of your wedding, with the full set of finished photos normally being ready within 4 weeks of the big day. During peak periods (June - October) it may take a little longer to get your photos to you, but we'll keep you informed every step of the way.

(9) How do we secure our booking with you?

There's a non-refundable booking fee payable at the time of booking to secure your wedding date with us, which is normally £200. Our booking process is handled entirely online, so you can provide your details, read & sign the agreement and pay your booking fee online in one easy step. There's no paperwork for you to worry about.

(10) What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit & debit cards through our online booking system, as well as bank transfer, cheques and cash. 

(11) What happens if the weather's bad on our wedding day?

Don't worry! We carry a variety of lighting equipment to ensure we can still create stunning photos inside your wedding venue. There's also some amazing photos we can take in the rain if you're willing to brave the elements.

(12) Do you do videography?

We prefer to specialise in still photography, to ensure we give our clients the best photos possible for their wedding. However we can recommend some great videographers we've worked with in the past, just get in touch for more info.
