Time for another look at a wedding from earlier this year and this time it's the turn of Cheryl & Steven, who were married in June at Rosslyn Chapel with their wedding reception at Norton House Hotel, Edinburgh. Our day started off in the morning with bridal prep at Cheryl's Mum & Dad's house, and as you can see the champagne was flowing!
Soon it was almost time to leave for the church, and so we grabbed some shots of Cheryl on her own, and she looked absolutely stunning in her Kavelle Couture dress!
Over at Rosslyn Chapel, Steven & The Boys were waiting anxiously for Cheryl's arrival.
As Cheryl arrived with her Dad, the tourists were out in force to wish her well!
Cheryl & Steven's wedding ceremony:
After the ceremony, there was just enough time to grab some shots of the happy couple inside Rosslyn Chapel, before heading outside for some bride & groom photos around the grounds.
Our time at Rosslyn Chapel was over and so we headed over to Norton House Hotel for the drinks reception, where we took some family photos and of course shots of the Bridal Party.
The Garden Suite at Norton House Hotel looked cracking, all set-up for the wedding meal. A receiving line, followed by speeches before dinner kept the guests entertained!
Afer the wedding meal, we had some time to spare before the evening reception and so we took Cheryl & Steven off for some photos around the grounds of Norton House itself. And of course, we had to make use of their fabulous staircase!
The evening reception kicked off in the Garden Suite at Norton House with the cutting of the cake, followed by Cheryl & Steven's first dance.
Around 10:00pm, guests were ushered outside into the garden for an amazing climax to the day. A lone piper playing Highland Cathedral, followed by the rest of the pipe band provided the perfect music to an amazing fireworks display- what a surprise for the guests and for Steven, who knew nothing about the surprise! Nicely done Cheryl!
Thanks again to Cheryl & Steven, their family and friends, for making us so welcome - we had an absolute blast!!!!
