This week on the blog we're heading off to Glasgow for a fabulous wedding we photographed last October at House for an Art Lover, in Bellahouston Park. Our day started off at Kris's parents house, where the girls were getting ready.
This is one of my favourite shots from the day - it's not often you get girls, kids & dogs all looking at the camera at the same time!
After the make-up & hair was completed, Lisa & the girls headed off to Lisa's Mum & Dad's house to get dressed for the wedding, whilst we nipped next door to photograph Kris & the guys before the headed off to House for an Art Lover.
It's fair to say Kris loves his cars, and what better way to travel to the venue than in a classic Escort Cosworth!
By the time we got to Lisa's parents house, Lisa was in her dress and ready to go. All the neighbours came out to see her leave!
The ceremony was held in House For An Art Lover, the building and its interior which was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, nestled in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park. What a fab location for a wedding!
The weather wasn't really on our side that day, and so we started the family groups off inside as we waited for the rain to go off. Fortunately it cleared pretty quickly and we were able to make the most of the grounds of the venue before it started to get dark.
Soon it was time for the speeches and wedding breakfast. We loved the dining room all set up - it looked cracking!
After the ceremony, we managed to squeeze in some bridal party shots inside before heading downstairs for the evening reception and first dance.
Thanks again to Lisa Marie & Kris, their family & friends for having us along!
